The MOCS year 9 & 10 DT students visited Wiltshire College on Friday 6th March.
They were taking part in an annual Women in Engineering Event and were joined by 150 girls from across Wiltshire. The students visited many different types of engineering stands from food to cosmetics and completed some fun hands-on activities using VR headsets and motorised robots.
One of the highlights was meeting Camilla Hattersley, who was representing Siemens, and who also swam for Great Britain in the Rio Olympics and came 9th in one of the 800m swimming events.
The girls thoroughly enjoyed themselves and asked to go again next year!
