Yesterday Year 6 took part in a financial workshop with Tom Porter from Thomas Porter Wealth Management. They each started with (a pretend amount of) £500 and had the opportunity to make and lose money, depending on the risk and reward choices they made. They learned a bit about interest, borrowing, lending and saving money. Hopefully this will support them in their Young Enterprise Project which we will begin working on after half term!
